 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub of the American is an actor comedian, activist, and actress. After moving to America her birthplace was in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents. Her career began as an actress in her early years as a child. She is most famous for her appearances on AT&T commercials on TV. In these commercials, she was Lily Adams (2013 to 2016) and 2020 (since 2020 (since). She was a regular host on Yahoo! Screen science fiction comedy Other Space (2015) and had a recurring role in the NBC drama This Is Us (2016-2017). After being cast in the unaired TV pilot for New Warriors, Vayntrub also is the voice of Squirrel Girl on Marvel Rising. Vayntrub was born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic, USSR, and is Jewish. At the age of two she left together with her parents to the U.S. to escape antisemitism. She settled in West Hollywood. Due to her family's financial troubles and her own financial struggles, she began acting in Mattel Barbie commercials as a five-year-old. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. However, she quit her sophomore year and earned an GED. Then, she went on to receive an Associate of Arts Degree in Communication from University of California San Diego. She studied improv comedy with the Upright Citizens Brigade.
